Program:

Day 1: Hanoi – Thay Pagoda – Tay Phuong Pagoda & villages (L, D)
Greeted by tour guide at the lobby of hotel we then travel to Hanoi outskirt to visit Master Pagoda (Chua Thay) and Tay Phuong Pagod (Chua Tay Phuong) to see the special wooden architecture of Old Viet people. In the afternoon, we cycle around from this old village to another, stop at handicraft families, chat to local, visit old local pagodas that built for that village only… then spend your rest day at the swimming pool. Dinner and overnight at the peaceful village.

Day 2: Moon Garden & Duong Lam Ancient Village (B, L)
Today we drive 20km to Duong Lam Ancient village where we firstly welcome by local fresh green tea at Moon Garden home-stay. We enjoy a short time to explore this beautiful home-stay complex and join cooking demonstration with host. Enjoying what we cooked and we have great time to try hand massage (having your fingers dipped in a fragrant lime bowl and the traditional herbal hand massage) before we cycle along village lanes of the old villages, explore more the daily life of truly countryside Vietnamese farmers and landscapes. Before saying goodbye Moon Garden home-stay, we have time to foot bath in warm water with ginger, salt and mugwort medicinal berbs, enjoy the local drink and taste some of the local products such as maize, sweet potatos, cassave, peanuts…(seasonal food).
